Uterine fibroids aren’t easy, often causing you to plan your life around your heavy periods—not to mention the pain, bloating and pelvic pressure. If you’re stuck carrying around extra sanitary products because you’re constantly worried about accidents, consider learning more and participating in a uterine fibroids research study.
ABOUT THE STUDY
The My Fibroid Study is evaluating an oral study drug to see if it may reduce heavy periods associated with uterine fibroids.
YOU MAY QUALIFY TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU:
- Are 18-48 years old and premenopausal
- Have heavy periods every month
- Have uterine fibroids*
- Are willing to use two forms of non-hormonal birth control, if sexually active
*A previous diagnosis of uterine fibroids is not required to qualify for this study.
The information you provide is confidential.
Why should I participate?
If you qualify and enroll, all study-related care, the study drug, sanitary products, and non-hormonal contraception will be covered at no cost. You will have regular study visits with the study doctor to monitor your uterine fibroids and other symptoms. Your participation may also help advance medical knowledge of uterine fibroids.
